Puredisk vs AdvancedDisk

Hello,

wath'is the difference between Puredisk and AdvancedDisk?

Now I use only Puredisk, but for space problem I will use free AdvancedDisk for same VM but I dont understand the difference.

    Can I assume that the PureDisk that you are referring to is NBU Dedupe on a NBU master or media server? You will know that dedupe can actually backup more data than the space provided in the dedupe pool. More or less 1:10 compression. Advanced disk can only store what is available in the volume. No dedupe, no compression. 1:1 storage. Hope this helps?
