Hi,

I recently upgraded to NB 7.7.2, every thing is perfect only getting error on VM Snapshot backup. Below is the Screen Shot

  • Hi,

This is strange, but how ever worked for me.

I disabled those VM policies, and run the following command to activate them:

    bpplinfo $i -modify -active

Now it is working and the backups are fine.

    Thanks All

  • Just a few or all VMware backups?

Which version of VMware are you using? 4.5 is no longer supported with 7.7.2

  • Hi Mark,

All VMWare backups and the Version for ESxi is 5.0.

Here is the Detailed snap of the error

  • Have you checked NBU Compatibility Guides before the upgrade? If I look at NBU 7.7.x Software Combatibily Guide: https://download.veritas.com/resources/content/live/SFDC/25000/000025229/en_US/nbu_77_scl.html?__gda__=1457087541_2d48ba4ab9b1692d413bdaefdc3f483c it seems to me that only ESX/vSphere 5.1 and above is supported.
