Does anyone know the role of the workgroup in SLP? Under what circumstances can inconsistencies in workgroup information occur (given that the Netbackup version has just been upgraded)?
Hello, I am struggling to understand what you are asking for. What do you mean under "SLP workgroup"? There is no term like this.

The workgroup is internal to NetBackup. When an SLP operation is in state 2 netbackup adds it to a workgroup.
1 is not started (and not in work group yet)
2 is incomplete, there are duplications running/failed
3 is complete...
An inconsistent workgroup shouldn't happen imo unless the states of the image have been manipulated to try and move a state back.
