Master Server: Netbackup Appliance

NBU Version: 3.1/8.1

There was a resolution of a similar issue on the below article but it was on an older version:

https://vox.veritas.com/t5/NetBackup/AIR-Import-Of-BMR-Data-Unsuccessfull-For-Some-Clients/m-p/529512

Do you perhaps know if there's an EEB to address this issue on 3.1/8.1?

  • Hi

In the target site is BMR installed? This log states it is not:

"Either BMR Master server is not configured on this setup or the service is down.. Please refer BMR administrator guide to know how to configure BMR Master server and import client BMR configuration manually."

If it is installed check if BMRDB is available - nbdb_ping -dbn BMRDB

      Hi quebek,

yes, BMR is installed on the target server and the BMR daemon is running

Also below is the output from nbdb_ping -dbn BMRDB

       #nbdb_ping -dbn BMRDB
Database [BMRDB] is alive and well on server [NB_ind-nbu1].
