Array based snapshot - Browse and restore VMs from HUA Dorado LUNs snapshots

Hello all,

I need your support to allow my Veritas netbackup to read and browse Huawai snapshots and restore VMs from HUA snapshots.

what is license required fro netbackup side and vmware side?
How to add the HUA storage array to netbackup?
How to read snapshots [created from LUNs - VMFS datastores] by net backup?
How to restore VMs from array based snapshots?

Do I need to install netbakup agent on all vmware hosts ?

What vendor plugin [from vendor of the Hawaii array] need to be deployed ?
  and where on the master, media , or  esxi host]

    Hey, did you check about MSDP? Why don't use MSDP and configure your storage? Maybe you need tell us more about your environment because doesn't make any sense tell about show huawei direct to netbackup, is not possible, but if you want just do backup about your vmware you can configure MSDP.

      Most people want to use the disk array snapshot rather than the VMware snapshot, which is quick, and safe.

    hi,

        There is no Hawaii or Huawai array information in the Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) and Software Compatibility List (SCL).
