  • Hi Nicolai,

Thanx for the update. But i'm unable to find an existing snapshot.

Please see the results of bpfis query below:

    C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin>bpfis query
    INF - BACKUP START 4004
    INF - FIS IDs:
INF - EXIT STATUS 0: the requested operation was successfully completed

  • Can we take a couple of steps back and you start by telling us more about the Exchange setup?

I see the following in job details:

    client exch-mbx29 ....
    policy md2-exchange-2007mbx

Is exch-mbx29 the virtual name for a clustered Exchange?

Is this Exch 2007? (or another version?)

from client exch-mbx29: TRV - Redirecting snapshot backup to server (EX07-MBX29P)

    Tell us about EX07-MBX29P.

    Is this a cluster node?

Have you checked logs (OS and NBU) on this node?

    Please show us policy config:
    bppllist <policy-name> -L

  • Hello,

exch-mbx29 the virtual name for a clustered Exchange.

    EX07-MBX29P is a passive node.

Checked logs on the node, looks fine.

We tried to move the resource from Active to Passive node.(EXCH-MBX29A->EXCH-MBX29P) would that impact on backup job?

I have attached the updated logs. Please find the attached file.

    Regards,

    Santosh
