Seems the process 'bombed out' on the client.
Please create bpbkar and bparchive folders on the client under netbackup/logs.
Next time it fails, copy the log files in these folders to bpbkar.txt and bparchive.txt and upload as file attachments.
You may also want to monitor system processes and resources while the backup/archive is running.

You forgot to mention the OS on the client?
OS..?
Please attache the bpcd and bpbkar log directory if not create them;
On Unix or Linux check the system log. Also it can due to corrupt binaries.
