BACKUP OF PHYSICAL MSSQL DATABASE SERVER

Dear All,

Please i need an advise on how to backup a physical server running windows OS that has MSSQL database application running inside it. What policy will I use to backup the full server as a whole.

I intend to the BMR after the full backup. So how can i backup the full server as a whole.

    Hi

    Well this would require at least two policies one of MS-Windows type to cover OS and binaries (you can include BMR data there) and second MS-SQL policy to backup MSSQL DB itself.

    There might be other approaches to achieve DB backups but since we are on NBU forum I did propose what I did ;)
