Backup SMB Share on American Trends NAS Storage

Question

Customer is having American Tends NAS Storage with SMB Share.

And the users are accessing the SMB Share using local user created on NAS Storage.

So how can we backup the SMB share using Netbackup Agent with NAS Local creditionals.

Any Suggestion??

Install NetBackup Client in a server with good access to the NAS and have the NetBackup services to run with an account that has permissions over the SMB. Then backup that client and use the UNC as backup selection.
