Backup storage jumps from 30gb to ~1tb suddenly

Hello. Currently using an unsupported netbackup server to take backups of legacy servers not supported in our current backup solution. The backups have been running fine, although back in april the storage the backups are being pointed to jumped from 30gb utilization to nearly 1tb. The systems only have volumes combined 400gb total and 2 weeks retention so falloff is pretty quick. Nothing has changed on the backups side in terms of configuration or policies.


Any way in netbackup to see what exactly caused a huge jump in storage?

    Also, I asked the admin who is responsible for these servers and he stated there did not seem to be a huge ingest in storage that he could tell and suggests it is on the Netbackup side.

    Can you verifiy if all the images are expiring as per you retention policy?? Please use bpimagelist or console (NetBackup Mgmt => Console) to fine the expiration time for the backups.
