Backups are failing with Socket Read error

Hi All,

Recently i have observed that full backups are failing with EC=21. Where as incremental bacups are running fine. Recently we have upgraded our netbackup from 6.5.5 to 7.1.0.4. We are taking the incrmental backups on Data domain and full backups on to tapes. All the clients are Window NT servers.

Please suggest what needs to be done.

    Window NT??  Really? As in Windows NT4? NBU 5.1 was the last version to support NT.

    Which NBU version do you have installed on the NT client?

    Is Media server used for tape different to media server used for DD?

    Wow!  That's an old one. I have one Windows Server 2000 client running NBU client v6.5 but you got me beat.
