Bare Metal Restore

Hi All,

How do we recover if a server which was backed up using BMR crashe ?

Do we need a booting Disk to recover or just the tape does every thing from scratch ???

Please let me know.

Also let me know in brief what Life cycle policy in 6.x is all about ??

Please do not ask me to go through the guides/material.
