  • How did you install the boot server?
First installed the base (6.5) boot server (which gives a warning about unsupported OS version, which can be ignored)
    and then upgraded to 6.5.4?
    If not, please try that.

Also, Can you do a strings on bmrsrtadm and grep for "Red Hat" and paste the output here and also the checksum of the following files:
    bmrsrtadm
    /usr/openv/resources/bmrsrt_root.res

    HTH,

There is some linux thar is not suported by baremetal.. yet
  • RHEL5.x is supported in 6.5.4, so that shouldnt be an issue.
kmouline is facing some different problem here.

    thank you for your support

  • Looking at the latest output, I can say that the bmrsrtadm binary on your system is old one, i.e. it is not the one with support for RHEL5.x.
Let me go through the other parts of your posting to see what could have caused this.
  • You have mentioned "We have installed the NBU 6.5 first on ...", does this mean that you also installed BMR Boot Server from 6.5 when you installed NBU 6.5? (boot server is a different package).
