bmr backup backup length
NBU 7.6.0.3
Windows Server 2008 R2 sp1, 10GB RAM, 200GB hd
i was checking the status of my bmr backup the other night and was surprised to find that it took 8.59 hours to finish. when i first started with bmr backups, they mostly take 2 or 3 hours max to finish.
in this regard, is there a way to know in advance what will affect the backup length of the bmr?
Exactly as I thought.
The BMR section took all of 11 seconds:

So, it is the actual data backup that is taking long, right?
The assumption is that you have ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES in Backup Selection but with 'Allow multiple data streams' in Attributes de-selected?
If so, all drives letters will be backed up sequentially.Enable multiple data streams to ensure all drives are backed up in parallel.
