BMR backup failed

My BMR backup failed with the below error

9/25/2009 11:42:56 AM - Error bptm(pid=3172) unable to perform read from client socket, connection may have been broken 
9/25/2009 11:43:01 AM - Error bpbrm(pid=1616) could not send server status message

    Platform? NBU version?
    Is tpsbcd your client where you are trying to take a BMR backup?
    If yes then are the client and master & media able to reach each other using the names used in NBU configurationa and policy?
