bpclntcmd -pn is not working.

  • Post output of below commands.

Run on Master /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/ ./bptestbpcd -client SAPCJDV -debug -verbose

Run on Client /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/ ./bpclntcmd -self

i will also suggest you to update host file on Master / Media & Clients as shown below

  • If your master server name is configured as the backup name, then bpclntcmd -pn will try to use the backup name/ip.

You would either need to hack your host file to make it think that:

    sun107-nb is the public IP.

Or you can try the REQUIRE_INTERFACE setting which controls all outbound communications from the machine you set it on.
