bpexpdate
I needed to extend some tapes for some testing so I ran ./bpexpdate -m tapename -d 10/05/2013 23:59:00
the tapes were set to expire on 9/18/2013, I ran this on a set of 30 tapes (one at a time) and all seemed ok.
We started our testing on the 18th and it looks like 2 of the tapes in the set expired and are now back in the scratch pool. is there any way to get the data back? the tapes have not been writen to yet.
Import them. See Importing backup images, Phase I and Phase II in the Admin Guide or this link
