Can I use Symantec System recovery agent and NetBackup together?

Can I use Symantec System recovery agent and NetBackup together?

We have a server which already has Symantec System recovery agent installed. And we are planning to include it in NetBackup circle.

It will be a NetBackup client. It has various applications like databases. 

Will it cause any problems? Can they both work together?

    The short answer to your question about whether Symantec System Recovery and NetBackup being able to co-exist is yes with one caveat.

    The caveat is that LiveUpdate, should you choose to use it, could cause issues. However the two products do not use any shared components, so running the two should not be a problem.

    Good question.  I know that Netbackup and Backup Exec cannot be on the same box in gernal.  I will dig some more on Symantec System recovery.
