Can NetBackup backup/restore mariaDB

I want to know if NetBackup can backup and restore mariaDB.

If yes, which policy type can I use?

    There is no agent for this database.

    You need yo find out from the database vendor how to backup this db.

    Normally you have two options with unsupported database software:

    1. Shutdown the db and take a normal filesystem backup.
    2. Use the built-in backup tools that comes with your db software (check product documentation or with your vendor) to backup to local disk, then backup this disk location with normal file-level backup. Remember to exclude the db files from normal filesystem backup.
