Thanks for your reply, I did try to create dr file using boimport command but it is giving error that “ it does not matches the specified criteria “
Please suggest what does this mean ?

I do not know what is wrong. You have to check if the tape you are using is the correct one.
If you are not sure you can use the image on media report or you can run a phase 1 import.If you are sure that the tape is correct and the command is not working, I subject to open a "server down" case to veritas. You will speak with an engender without any wait.

You should be also receiving emails after hot catalog backup. Here is an example one for NBU 10.0.0.1, after replacing some fragile data - not sure which version you are using:
