Solved

Client hostname could not be found (48)

Hi all,

I'm receiving the above error when attempting phase 1 import on a different Master Server at another one of my sites.

This has worked fine in the past so not sure why I'm receiving this error.

Any pointers?

Thanks.

  • Did you specify the name of a valid media server at remote site to perform the import?

Please post a screenshot of your 'Initiate Import' selection screen as well as all text in Activity Monitor Details tab. If anything in Import 'Results' tab, post that too, please.

  • Thanks for your input Marianne I have worked this out.

For some reason when Clicking on 'Catalog' then 'Actions' 'Intialise Import' I left the 'Media Server' as it was as it seemed correct however there are 2 servers available, 1 with a typo & 1 correct.

Phase 1 import complete & phase 2 now running.

Not sure why we have a bogus entry.

  • If Mariannes post helped you, perhpas you could make it as the solution.

    Thanks,

    Martin
