client upgrade

Master server NBU Version : 6.5.6

Master server HARDWARE: SOLARIS

Master Server OS: solaris 9

Netbackup client:

NetBackup Client Platform = PC, Windows2000
NetBackup Client Protocol Level = 6.5.0
 

When i am trying to push client software from master server it was giving me below error

 

Cannot update client tus1entscspib01
        Invalid hardware type "PC" and/or operating system "Windows2003"
        or client binaries are not installed on the server.

 

Please give some light

    Solaris Master can only push to Unix clients, not Windows

     

    You can do local install on the Windows client

    I have posted a number of links in your other posts explaining that ONLY Unix/Linux clients can be upgraded from Unix/Linux master using update_clients.

    Download Windows patches from here: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH129076

    Follow installation instructions in the download URL.
