Command-line NDMP restore???

Hi folks,

So in the spirit of command-line use .. :)

I've successfully been restoring NDMP backed-up-data via the windows gui...

But my environment is more well suited to command line execution of anything NetBackup.

I've tried the following form of the bprestore command on ...

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bprestore -t 19 -C tier2a -D tier1a -S master -s -e -p ndmp_policy -R redirect.file -L restore.log -w

but the result is:

    After further reading of NetBackup docs on command line use...

    I neglected to remember the fact that I have to run this as root!!!

    Works fine now via USER = root

    Currently seeing throughput at 30 - 50 mb/sec from LTO2 tape to Tier1 NetApp filer.

    Now if I can only find the process(es) that are taking up 10 GB of RAM even when all NetBackup daemons are halted on my master server (Sun T-2000 w/ 16GB RAM)...

    ... but that's for another thread... and another beer.
