Configure Netbackup master/media server on virtual machine
Can we configure the Netbackup master/ media server on Virtual server or Backup Exec media server on virtual server, kindly find the below environment details,
ESX version 5.1 U1
Netbackup 7.5.0.6
Backup Exec 2010 R2 SP3
We are using tape library as storage.

You can use virtual servers of Netbackup maser and media servers

However the use of tape in VMware virtualized environments is NOT supported. See page 5 in above document. Use can use MSDP, disk or OST devices in VM's.
