We the vault process to eject tapes:
What script can be modified to eject tapes and list which media pools the tapes were ejected from along with the tape expiration date. What parameters can be used in the script to provide the additional information for media pool and tape retention. This is for windows NB.
Look in the NetBackup™ Vault™ Administrator's Guide, starting at page 242. It lists the commands and scripts that may be used.
Then review the sample scripts in bin\goodies directory on your Master server.
I found it and so my next question is.. is there a way to modify the picklist or media report to include the media pool? If so, what parameter or variable can be used. I'd like to have the tape media pool listed.
