Delete initiate import catalog

Dear All,

 

Anyone know how to delete this file\catalog (see image). Before this I initiate import this catalog from tape but cannot complete since there is a lost fragment. Then i try to import this catalog from source master server. The cat_import was success but the catalog in verify and in BAR not appear.

I think the initiate import catalog cause this.

  • You'll need to delete that client's image from the catalog if it exists. You can check with bpimagelist using that backupid. If its there, expire it, and then try your cat_import.
     

  • So you tried to import but it couldn't due to a fragment being missing, in other words some tape is lost, or some tape has I/O error, etc?

     

    If that is the case, what do you want to achieve by running cat_import? If the tape is bad you cant restore from it.

  • Well, in case some file that i can restore. i know it is wasting time, but good enough to try.
