Domino crash after PIT restore using Lotus notes agent

Hi all,

I have had this issue recently where domino server crashes when I try to restore a mail file (by applying transaction logs) with same replica ID but different database ID. The restore is usually done to a different location rather than inside domino directory. The environment runs on NetBackup 7.1.0.4 on Windows 2008 servers.

Has anyone come across this before?

  • Below is an excerpt from the tar logs during the time when the domino crashed:

This is the 3rd instance when domino crash has occured during mail file restore using Netbackup.

  • Any instance where someone else also has faced similar issues?

  • Seems not....

Have you logged a Support call?
Full tar log as well as bptm and bpbrm on media servers will be needed as well.

Any errors in Event Viewer System or Application logs?
