duplicate from one robot to another

Hi, I'd like to duplicate tape from a robot that has LTO4 hcart drives to a robot that has LTO6 hcart3 drives.
However, when I run via the menu "catalog" then duplication, I tell him the storageunit of destination namely hcart3.
the job is still waiting: A pending request has been generated for this resource request.
Operator action may be required. Pending Action: No action,
Media ID: 004004, Barcode: 004004, Density: hcart, Access Mode: Read,

Looks like he's waiting for a hcart density drive on my destination robot but I do not have one.

How can I do?

    No it is not wrong.
Just bear in mind that there are 2 parts to a duplication:

    1. The read process.
The LTO4 (hcart) source tape needs to be mounted in an hcart drive to read the data from the source tape.

    2. The write process
A suitable hcart3 tape will be selected in the destination STU to write the duplicate copies.

So, my guess is that 004004 is the source tape that contains the images to be duplicated.
Can you check if this tape is in the robot?

  • Which tape have you selected to duplicate?

This looks like it may be the source LTO4 tape that needs to be duplicated.

in the catalog part, I select my LTO4 hcart tape,

it brings me the list of backups that are on it. I right click => duplicate => and I specify a storage unit hcart3

      is it wrong ?
