Hi Guys
I have an issue in netbackup version (11.0.0.1) where all duplication jobs are failing with status : 96 (
Unable to allocate new media for backup, storage unit has none available ).
Details :
She storage server is up
Storage unit : MSDP-STU .
All volume pools are active .
I would appreciate guidance on potential causes and recommended troubleshooting steps .

are you duplicating to tape or Disk (for example Access) , either of them, are you able to write something to that disk/tape (directly, not as duplication), this way you can understand if something is wrong with your destination storage or no.
as StefanosM has mentioned, you need to provide more details, like the job detail can be more helpful.
are you sure that the destination storage unit isn't tape device?
I haven't seen error 96 without tape involvement.
can you share a copy of the job detailed status?
