Email Alerts for Failed Backup Jobs

Team,

Currently email alerts are configured in Netbackup and everything is working fine. Email flow was more so though to filter the alerts like email needs to genereated only when a backup failure occurs,

Can someone please help me, How to configure/filter email alerts only for the failed backups jobs in Netbackup 7.5?

    Remove the email address in Universal Settings and add to Global Attributes only. See: http://www.veritas.com/docs/000035984

    If you are getting email alerts already, then someone must have previously configured the script located at: /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/backup_exit_notify This script could possibly be sending emails for all backup end events. If you would like some assistance in modifying it then you'll need to post a copy here, and hopefully someone will help you configure/amend it to only email upon failed backups.

    Btw that script exists on the master server.
