  • hi

try "MS-Windows" policy type instead of "Standard"

u'll have snapshot based backup that might solve your problem..

  • Maybe someone has deleted files while backup was running. Speak to sysadmins.
  • Hi Marianne,

    What files has been deleted?

if this is the file you are talking about " /oracle/diag/tnslsnr/saphesq/listener/trace/listener.log. "...it is there in the location. I verified.

    Thanks.

  • Missing files as per bpbkar log:

    ERR - Cannot lstat Jspm.J2EE.DataModel.xml.
    ERR - Cannot lstat Jspm.JSPM.DataModel.xml.
    ERR - Cannot lstat Jspm.JSPM.DataModel.xml.back

Incorrect byte count for this file:
Read error at byte 77120000 reading 524288 bytes in file /oracle/diag/tnslsnr/saphesq/listener/trace/listener.log.

    Please speak to your sysadmin.

  • Still the error has not been resolved, and admin team did FSCK but nothing came up, please let me what else can be done.

    Thanks

  • Hi,
What you mention in "Backup Selection List" under policy ?

  • fsck will not report on files that have been deleted.

As per my previous posts - you have to find out from sysadmins what happened to the files that are reported in the bpbkar log as 'missing'.

The error is coming from the OS on the client - NBU is merely reporting the error.
