Error code 800

Dear All,

Our system using the backup encryption , after power down for maintenance , I boot up the tape library and find the drive is down by run the tpconfig -d command but check on the drive is up on the NBU console.  I try to rebuild the sg drive but still the same problem.  May I know if there is any further step to do ?  Kindly advice to me .

  • Please go back to your previous posts on how to check for devices at OS level before you try to rebuild the sg driver.

      Do I need to stop the NBU daemon before re-build the sg driver?  Please advice

        No need to stop NBU.

        Just make sure that devices can be seen at OS level.
