Error requested media id is not assigned to this host in the EMM database 95

After I executed this command on 4 tapes

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpexpdate -m M016L7 -d 0 -force

, I encounter this message and I cannot use those tapes. This is their condition. Is there any help?

Note: The strips were in a frozen state.

I tried to freeze, unfreeze, delete the bar and add it again and its status is active and its status on the CLI is available

  • From your screenshots, the tape is not in a FREEZE state but in an AVAILABLE state. The output of the unfreeze command is correct.

Is this tape new, or has it been used in another NetBackup environment?

Try to run the following command:
    bplabel -m M016L7   -d HCART  -p Volume_pool
(change the Volume_pool with the actual volume pool name the tape is)

If the command fails, please post the error message so we can troubleshoot further.
