Extract Policy Information

Hi everyone.

Is there an easy solution guys to extract all the info from a policy into an
easy to read word format or excel?

Info I ideally want to catch is

policy name
backup window
clients

any help would be apprecaited

Thanks

ps.: using NetBackup 7.6

  • Is the command line output good enough for you?

    \netbackup\bin\admincmd\bppllist <policyname> -L

    Quite readable to me...

  • You can take a look at following post where Satish has come up with a policy parser which can be used to export policy inoformation in Excel format.

  • I prefer bppllist with -U to get schedules in user-friendly format.

      Hello SymGuy-IT,

If you are already logged in and still can't access the page, you don't have permission to view the page--contact the person that gave you the link to see if there is an error.

Could you plz help on getting the policy parser?
