FlashBackup

I'm currently trying to configure a flashbackup policy, but unfortunatley, the entire "Advanced Client" section is greyed out, so I am unable to check the "Perform Snapshot Backup" box. I thought I have the right licenses since it lets me choose the flashbackup as a policy.

Any thoughts/ideas?

    Sorry Mangler, Enterprise Client isn't licensed with Enterprise Server. If you haven't specifically bought a license for it, you will need to before you can use it. One way to test this is to ask for an Evaluation License from your account manager. Once installed, you should see that all functionality becomes available and the Advanced Client options are no longer greyed out.

    If you believe the Admin Guide ( ;) ) the "Perform snapshot backups" box is "pre-selected for FlashBackup-Windows"

    What is your NetBackup version? What licenses do you have installed on the Master Server?

    or is it FlashBackup (i.e. for UNIX clients)?

    I believe that all policy types are available from the drop-down list but you can't actually use them unless the correct licensing is there.

    either FlashBackup option, Informix, Sharepoint, SAP, Exchange, or SQL policy types available!

    Yet we do have Oracle on that list but it isn't licensed!

    On each Windows master server:

    From the Help menu, select License Keys .... 
     The NetBackup License Keys window appears. Existing keys are listed in the lower part of the window.


    Check for license key for Advanced Client
