Front end capacity

Hello,

could you please help me to calaculate the available Front end capacity of my Environment.

Netbackup Version - 7.1 ; OS - Linux.

We backup only Teradata using the Netbackup. We were not able to fetch the capacity related details from nbdeployutil. As i checked with Veritas, they told this command will not work for Teradata.

We backup to Data domain VTL solutions.

Please let me know for more details required.

    Hello,

    I dont have experience with Teradata, but in this case use Teradata tools or try to ask its supplier how to calculate front-end capacity.

    Well, capacity is nothing else but the total of one full backup on all clients.
    You should be able to run Client Backup report for a period that will pick up one full backup.

    What is the purpose of this exercise when you are running such an old, unsupported NBU version?
