How do I backup VMWare Horizon View?

I have a VM backup policy that is backing up my horizon view desktop pool.  The pool is using linked clone with persistent disk.  How do you backup the persistent disk on each VMs?  It seems my backup is only backing up one VMDK, the OS drive, and that's it.
