How much space required to install netbackup 7.5.0.5 client on linux

Dear All ,

I need one help , How much space we required to install netbackup client version 7.5.0.5 on linux o.s .

Thank You !!

  • Apologies....

    NetBackup 7.5 Release Notes http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC5041

The download link for NBU 7.5.0.5 Unix/Linux Clients is also the README for the patch installation.
You should find a section dealing with space requirements.

Please bear in mind that NBU needs temporary space in /tmp to uncompress and extract files during installation process.
If memory serves me right, a minimum of 2GB is needed in /tmp. (It can be more... will have a look at the README a bit later...)
