How should we setup STU Pool on Data Domain? How does AIR want to see it? Does it matter?

We have Data Domains setup to replicate (AIR) from one site to another. When we setup STU Pool on the DD, is there Best Practice to how NBU wants to see it on our Data Domain Storage pool. eg. separate for App, DB, Data, etc. Do you have best practice doc on how AIR should be setup with Data Domains?
