How to add a Oracle RAC instance with #nboracmd to 10.4

Hi,

we use Netbackup 10.1.1 with OIP in our production and manage our Oracle assets with #nboraadm. - Everything works fine!

In our Test environment we use Netbackup 10.4.0.1 and everything has changed :-(

The CLI commend #nboraadm was replaced with #nboracmd and this command is not so powerful!

With the command "#nboracmd modify database" i'm able to register the Database, but it is not possible to add a new Instance to the Database.

Has somebody the same issue and can provide a solution?

I'm sure over the API it will work, but i don't use API scripts.

    Hi ,
    I faced an issue with discovery on web UI, I wanted to try the discovery via CLI but it seems nboracmd  does not have much options comparing to other command.one more thing I have noticed to run the nboracmd you will need to run bnbat command first.

      Hi,

      yes i know the situation with bpnbat and i always do the web login, but that solves not the issue with the reduced set of features from #nboracmd.
