is Advance disk supports on netbackup 7.7 ?

Hello all,

I am trying to run backup using advanced disk but it command stcuk inbetween.command is mention below:

root@cxt03:~# /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbdevconfig -previewdv -storage_servers cxt03 -stype AdvancedDisk |grep "/mnt/test61_0_FS_0"

Any reasons for using the -previewdv option ?

Please try to the advanced disk using the wizards at the "top" of the Netbackup GUI.

Advanced disk is still supported in version 7.7. More info please. Have you configured new Advanced disk using NBU 7.7? Or did you have working Advanced disk on previous version that was upgraded to 7.7? What is happening to the backup? Please show us all text in Details tab of the backup job.

If you are still doing nbdevconfig, I assume you have not setup the AdvancedDisk disk pool yet. What is the status now?

What is the output of that command?

Any reason why you're not using the GUI to configure the storage server & disk pool etc. ?

Seems you also had an issue in NBU 7.6.1:

advance disk command give me error
You never replied to attempts to help in that post.

Please help us to help you and share all the steps that you have performed.
