- MarianneLevel 6Are you aware that Microsoft is ending support for W2003? Best to migrate to newer version ASAP.

We have plans to migrade NBU to Windows 2012 .
But as windows 2012 server supports NBU version 7.6 ,So we are palnning to upgrade the NBU version from 7.5.0.7 to 7.6.1.1. on current windows 2003 64 bit and then migratee.
So i require memory recommandation on windows 2003 server 64 bit server .
- MarianneLevel 6Your plan is good. Upgrade to 7.6.1 on current server, then migrate to W2012 using same hostname and NBU version.

The following requirements appear in 7.6 Installation Guide:
■ Master servers in a production environment with several
database agents enabled, should have a minimum of 8
GB of memory each.
■ Media servers in a production environment with several
database agents enabled, should have a minimum of 4
GB of memory each.
