Java console process spawning ...it is an issue.
I'm running 7604 and encountered some odd out of memory issues around midnight...sendmail crashes, running jobs ditto. Did a lot of digging around project mem settings and then resorted to bpps -a ...simple! Ive got over 1000 bpjava processes running.
It wasnt like this in the very recent past.
Apparently this is by design according to one hit in search!
This is a bug no? You just end up with a resource shortage as the javagui processes stack up and they stack up pretty quickly: fire up the gui and go into activity monitor: 16 processes. Go into bar : 26. Go into device monitor:35 !
OK as the solution is simple is not a major headache but really, this is a change in behaviour. Leaving the java console running for any decent length of time is no longer a good idea.
Any thoughts out there in the community?

Uninstalled this on my laptop
https://www.veritas.com/community/forums/security-hot-fix-have-you-done
and my problems are diminished. Cruised all around the java gui and the process count is 4 and steady, not 55 and counting.
Thats NB_7.6.0.4_ET3865361_1.
Result of sorts. Its a bug.
