We are running 7.5 in SOLARIS SPARC 10 64 bit. I just installed GUI for windows and when i tried to login it says "The netbackup host specified is invalid and does not exist" I looked up my bp.conf and the master server name is there. Please help .
its looks like you are having the name resolution issue..
try to ping the netbackup master server with the name from your window system , i am sure it will not ping..
then check if you are able to ping with the IP address to make sure you have proper communication between the window system and netbackup master server
then add you master server entry in hosts file of windows server located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
<Ip address> <netbackup master serversname>
