Linux install Woops!
NBU - 7.1
I'm trying to install client software on my SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP1 - 32 bit.
From yesterday's thread, I downloaded what I thought was the proper file for this process... I was wrong. What I downloaded was the 6.5 Server install. So, this morning, my Linux guy ran the install. Got all the way to the license key step, which is when I finally realized that we had run the wrong package.
My question: How do I cleanup what we've done? Was it a complete install, or only partial, since we didn't get through the license key step? We've looked through the Netbackup folder that was created, but don't see any uninstall package.
Tech support finally called... this issue is resolved.
I wish Windows was as easy to cleanup as Linux...
Resolution: delete the /usr/openv directory.
