All linux VMs are with vhdx goes in suspend state during backup. As per admin guide (NBU 7601) for Hyper-V vhdx is not supported yet.
Any idea when it will be officially supported.

VHDX is supported, just not "Enable file recovery from VM backup". But i suppose that's what you meant.
If you disable that option the backup should work.
No idea about support date for vhdx.

Just rephrasing my original question.. It was for Windows 2012 (not for 2012 R2)
7602 has support for Windows 2012 R2 (but not to Windows 2012) ...This is what support says.
presently got busy in simulating same in my lab and trying if SF flashsnap can help me here in.
Seems your original question was about VHDX, not W2012. Right?
