Major Webui issue! File restore from full+inc only restores inc

Everyone using the webui for restores needs to be aware of this issue! I'm not sure why this is not made public by Veritas yet.

The versions we run and I know are affected is 10.5.0.1 and 11.0.0.1.

When restoring files from a full + incrementals of a vmware backup, only files from the last selected incremental backup is restored. The calculate function in the recovery details show correct amount of files, but the restore job only resores files from the last inc.

Same restore done in the Java console works as expected, all files from the selected images is restored.

We logged a case and got a call right away letting us know that apparently Veritas has known of this issue for some time now. Why is there no KB?? no email to customers?? no information what so ever.. I'm almost lost for words since working backups and restore is the CORE function of the product!

    Is the issue also present when performing the restore from the Java console?

      No, same restore from Java console works as expected, all files from the chain of fill+inc images is restored.

        Hello, did you get an answer from support ? I've tested in my environment (10.5.0.1 version) and I didn't face this issue.
