Migration from Data Domain to appliance

Hi All,

I have to Migrated the Data from Data Domain to NBU appliance .

Intially I thought I can keep the DD images and let them expire but some of our data retention is 5 years then in that scenario I need to migrate 

Can I mount the CIFS of both DD and Netbackup appliance and then use any storage migration tool for copying in that scenario is netbackup is able to read data from NBU appliance as I am thinking that may be Data which is written in DD is written in its own format and cann't be undertsand to NBU appliance 

In that scenario only duplication images by NBU SLP is the option .

Kindly provide me your feedback and let me know if any good option I am missing

    Duplicating images though netbackup is the only option that you have...

    since those are already backed up images.. you can not even use SLP to duplicate.... 

    all those images needs to get duplicated Manually,  you can trigger the duplications for muitple images by using the bidfile in bpduplicate command.. else you can also trigger from GUI--> catalog.
