MS Exchange Journal Database Backup
I recently recieved a request to backup the MS Exchange Journal DB. I am not having any luck finding any reference to backing this up and how to go about it so I was wondering if I can just set this up as an Exchange policy type and use the Backup Selection for Exchange Database and grab it that way or if there were another method to doing this one. I am running Netbackup version 7.6.0.2. This server that the DB is on is not included in the DAG either.
Take a look at the Netbackup admin guide for Exchange - page 37. Backup of only the transaction logs is documented in the manual.
