MSDP DOWN

i have netbackup  version 8.0 on windows server 2012 r2 ,  when i make migration to new server the same windows adn netbackup on it the MSDP Pool  show is Down and services Deduplication manager and Deduplication engine disabled ?

    Have you attached the MSDP volume to the new server and mapped it to same drive letter/path? 

    Please share the steps that you have performed to migrate to new server.

      1- Install windwos server 2016 with the same host name and networj and users in new server & setup netbacakup the same version .
      2- map storage have deduplication pool to new server with same assign letter.
      3- restore catalog & successful .

        Are spoold.exe and spad.exe processes running? 

        Have you checked these logs for errors?
        <MSDP install path\log\spoold\spoold.log
        <MSDP install path\log\spad\spad.log
        <MSDP install path\log\spoold\storaged.log
